It's an invitation. Physical violence suggests being an aggressor. He is welcome to back up the arrogant, demeaning and insulting things he spews from his pie hole. I just naturally assumed someone who runs his mouth like that would either back it up or STFU. Neither has happened. I assume mods have already seen the garbage he has written and have taken no action, so I extend my invitation for him to man up or shut up.

To add to that, reference your comment on the type of site you'd like to come to, I would like to be able to discuss issues with members without someone injecting themselves in and saying things they would never, ever say to someone's face. The easiest way to keep things civil is to only say things you would say if you were in person. I do not believe the individual in question would ever talk the way he does to a person's face, so why do it here? My reaction is exactly how I respond if someone talked to me like that in person. I want to take a moment to offer a public apology to anyone I may have offended during discussions regarding this case. I strongly believe what I believe, and I allowed my frustrations to get the better of me in a few of my posts. Same here. I'm real comfortable in this community, and tend to respond to stuff as if we're sitting in the same room. This medium can be a real bottleneck when it comes to delivering a thought with it's real intent. We can't see each others' faces. TGO is a great bunch of folks. I can't say that I have a problem with anybody on here.

Same here guys. I think I let my emotions get in the way too. We all have different opinions and we need to respect that of each other. I've been guilty too. I will no longer allow the likes of GZ and TM to come between me and my TGO friends. Just ain't worth it.

I used to feel the same way, but the veil has been lifted from my eyes so to speak, sadly I believe that the venomous partisan rancor that is infecting the rest of America has seeped into our little forum..

That is the problem with paritisanism, it blinds its participants to seeing any other viewpoint or opinion as being "acceptable" (not saying your guilty of it, just using your comments as a jumping off point to further the discussion).

In this instance with TMF he believes that its "hateful" to oppose gay-marriage, even though my position is based in my knowledge of all of the potential social ramifications not on an emotion such as "hatred" &/or "fear".

The potential social ramifications far outweight the benefit of redefining traditional marriage, especially when there are viable alternatives already in practice that provide the same benefit without the social ramifications.

Yet, that is "hateful" to suggest, makes absolutely no sense unless you understand Saul Alinsky & why some folks have been indoctronated to believe that way.
