Spyderco Military Camo

Just showed up today. This is the only camo item I own, but liked it better than the other offerings. As others have said, it's a big knife. I got no problem with that :). Loving it so far...

Here it is with a couple of my bigger folders. It's the lightest of the three by a good amount.

One glaring deficiency to me though: Tip down right hand only clip config.

I admit that the grip is so long that the tip down works pretty well, but would prefer tip up like I usually carry, even though you'd generally have to shift grip some to flip open. Would also like to carry it on left side as backup sometimes, but the ergos don't work with the right hand config only.

I see why there's no tip up holes, 'cause there ain't no metal there for them, but fail to see why they didn't design them to other side of the pivot area.

You have acquired numerous knives very quickly.  You have definitely been bitten by the knife bug.  :)

Yep. The coolest thing I got this week was my Edge Pro. Now I gotta get good with it.

Honestly, I didn't get the Spyderco thing until I got one in my hands.

Already resolved it in my little brain. I have plenty of fast knives. I'm happy just opening this one like a Sebbie. Tip down is fine on this one.

They make an awfully good knife. And that big hole makes for a wickedly fast deployment. Pretty sure my military and even my 20 year old rescue are come out faster than most of the autos that people get so worked up about.

It loosened up a little.

My Military was socked down tighter than it needed to be. I was able to loosen it just a scooch to where there was still zero horizontal blade play.

Also I hit it with CLP. Opens toot sweet with flick of tip of thumb in hole but added slight wrist flick makes real sure.
