Anyone having luck with .22 around Nashville?

Wanting to go to the range, but we're almost out of 22 for my wife. Anyone been seeing any locally? I can't bring myself to give Everything Weapons $70/500...

Dang, didn't know that's how much they were charging. I haven't really been looking, so I can't help you. I wore myself out running around a few months ago searching for ammo, only to come home empty handed. Now if I happen to be in a store I will check, but that's it, no more "hunting ammo" for me. Good luck though. Edited by rugerla1

Yeah, I did some hunting with mediocre results. Lately I've just checked if I've been in the area, but haven't found anything at all for about a month.

.22?? Is that still being made?

Seriously, haven't seen anything locally. Sometimes see it online for anything from moderately fair pricing to plain old outrageously insane.

I still see it. 50 rnds is usually $5. A bit steep for me. Pre panic I was paying $2.

I saw some at Shooter's on Murfreesboro Road next to Gun City (didn't go in there though). CCI, standard stuff. Didn't find out the price because the guy that walked in before me was buying it all (2x 100 rounds). This was a few days ago. I did ask, and the guy said the .22 was left over from the gun show he had been to the precious weekend, so it took him at least a week and 1 gun show to sale out. At least it's sitting around for a little longer.

I'm guessing that if you had seen the price you would understand why it was "sitting around for a little longer".

Locally, I see nothing. Getting some decent prices online from time to time. Every few weeks I'll see 1,000 round packs for a decent price but you have to be fast. It helps to subscribe to email alerts and to follow certain shops/sites on Facebook. for every 5 deals I see, 4 are sold out by the time I get to them. The better the deal and the more popular the site, the faster it sells out.

I was in Everything Weapons yesterday. They have some odd pricing. For CCI standard velocity, a 500 round brick is $70. OR, you can buy 50 round boxes of the same stuff for $5.99. Just buy ten 50 round boxes and you save $10. They had lots of everything in stock, including some obscure calibers. Most was high priced, but every so often a box was reasonable. Edited by diablo982

Academy in Cool Spring got a decent shipment today of Remington. 1 box per person though, so bring a couple bodies with you... $3 for 50 rounds.
