Marco Rubio Selecting "conservative" Candidates & Looking for $

Recommended Posts

I had an interesting phone call yesterday evening from a women who said she was with the Marco Rubio group seeking donations to help him select the best “conservative” candidates.

She asked if I knew who Senator Rubio was and I said yes, I’m familiar with Mr. Rubio.

Then she asked me what I’m sure she intended to be a rhetorical question of “and who would be better to identify conservative candidates than Senator Rubio?

After I quite laughing; I said honey, I can think of a few dozen people off the top of my head who would be better at selecting conservative candidates than a RINO like Mr. Rubio.

Then I hung up.

I was pretty proud of myself too…I wonder how many other people that they call are giving a similar reaction to Rubio’s fundraising?

Tea Party is looking down at him. They had a lot to do with his getting elected. I hope he gets that primary

challenge.

My only regret is that i can't vote against him. However, I CAN vote against the RINO Lamar and am very much looking forward to that! :)

No. There is a campaign to find a candidate going on right now (of course all the establishment Republicans are behind Lamar)...I don't really care who challenges him or if he has a challenger; I vote for the Democrat if Lamar is the Republican candidate.

The National RINO party called and wanted money, I told them that they did not have a "far enough right" person for me to stand with.

I will...if it means Lamar has to leave his office.

I'd rather see him lose to a Democrat than get reelected because of a split vote (R, D, third party, etc).

It's still early enough to hope that it wont come to that...that Lamar will lose the primary bit do a decent candidate but if that doesn't happen my vote will NOT got to Lamar.

I guess Hillary is a sure thang in 2016, and a Democrat commie senate majority to ratify the UN small arms treaty. Yep, our country's destruction is in the accelerated phase.

Do you really think Lamar wouldn't vote for it were he reelected?

I don't

But yes, unless enough conservatives get into the house and senate to at least be an effective "blocking agent" there is truly no hope for the country (not that I have much hope left at this point in any case).

Me too. His Facebook page was recommended on my timeline asking me to "Stand with Lamar." I replied that the only place I will be standing is at the polls voting against him. I was not in the minority with that opinion either.

I think the rino's like rubio, mccain, lamar and corker have done so much already, it would be selfish of us to ask any more of them. For their sakes (never thinking of myself), we should let them retire from politics and enjoy life. I know they're willing to make the sacrifice and continue on but it would be unfair of us to allow that. Let's start the unofficial RINO retirement party!

As far as Rubio goes, I would tell him he might as well seek contributions south of the border.

If the Republicans are not really unlike the Commie Pinko Democrats, then let's just have one big tent party and call it the Communist Democratic Socialist Union Party of North America, and then we can keep on voting for Obama and his communist cronies every election period without opposition. And we can all line up and surrender our guns and ammo, and become good comrades.

I'm not sure the problem rests with the political parties as much as it rests with the vacuum of morality that is now approaching the Status Quo of American society today...any flavor of democracy, including a representative one, can only truly survive so long as a significant majority of the people are willing to do the right thing...who would rather live with freedom and independence than depend on government...who will do the right thing even when no one is watching.

I'm not talking about "religion" although morals do need some sort of basis for their moral compass by whatever name you want to call it.

What I'm getting at here is that I don't really believe any more that "who" we elect or what party (or non-party) they identify with is going to make much difference....I think we may well be on a path that we can no longer stray from.
