Why no Obama budget for four years?

I'm one of those that believe very little ever happens by chance in politics. I've thought about why the Liberals (at the behest of Obama) failed to produce a budget for several years and it dawned on me that the years with no budget coincide perfectly with the inception, growth and funding for the Homeland Security force that Obama first mentioned in 2008. Thus no official record of the cost maybe?

This continuing resolution ploy that Prez Zero and Congress uses as substitute for fiscal responsibility is just a way to skirt the painful process of getting a budget plan on paper for all to see and hold them to.  Why argue over minutiae when you can just haggle over how many billions of dollars more you want to shake out of the pockets of taxpayers?

Here is a quick and dirty budget plan.  Government can only spend up to 90% of last years tax revenue with the other 10% going toward the debt, period no more borrowing.  Would be interesting to see what programs would get cancelled or scaled back.

But then the Federal Reserve would bitch 'bout the lack of debt to'm, plus, he hasn't tallied up all them vacation expenses.

Looking at the wrong "gang" on this one. Budget is business of  House of Representatives, Republican controlled. Democrats didn't have to hold anything up as our own Conservatives stopped every budget move , except Ryan's, which was not acceptable to even the Republican party. The die hard "Super Patriots" aren't helping us real Americans any more than the Socialist Democrats. We don't have a government anymore, just a "turf war" between two gangs of hoodlums.

And the Republican House has submitted a budget each year. The Senate or Obama has killed each one, if I recall correctly.

I don't remember if Ms Pelosi's House submitted one during her term as Speaker.

 

So, you think we should just roll over and accept any budget that Obama or the Senate wishes? You can't have cuts to the

budget unless you try, and that takes all parties to the process, and one or two parties are blocking it, not just the "Super

Patriots" as you call them.

 

We should not be allowing this continuing resolution process, period. It undermines the constitutional process and allows

for more deceptive practices. If anything, our government should be made to grind to a halt and stop the President from

blowing money he doesn't have allocated. If that can't work, bring the federal government back into the constitutional

realm by impeaching anyone getting in the way.

 

If the President or the Senate can't agree with the budget process, maybe they should be out of the loop on it, to begin

with.
