Ammo Prices

Do you think they'll ever come back down to pre-craziness levels? Or has the industry taken a lesson from the energy companies here in not letting a good tragedy go to waste?

$.30/rd ---> $1.50/rd  ---> $.78/rd  over an 8 month period..... or something like that.

I was on a road trip 2 weeks ago and stopped at 3 Cabela's and 1 Scheel's and came home with, well lets say lots of ammo. I only bought 9mm and paid .29 cents per round at both stores.

Prices will come back down, but never as low as prepanic prices.

As I just bought 1,000 rounds of .223 brass new (not reloaded) for $298... which is what I paid for it 2 years ago...

I for one do not think they will ever come back down to where they use to be.  Nor did gas or even a loaf of bread.
