New home defense gun

Recommended Posts

Previously, i always used my Remington 870 for home defense. I figured i would not need to leave the bedroom if the alarm went off. I'd let the bad guy come to me. With the baby coming and the nursery upstairs, i needed a little more mobility than a short barrel (legal) shot gun. So i picked up this glock 21 today. Added night sights, TLR-1 and a couple 13 rounds magazines packed with Gold Dots.

In case you've never seen a glock....

Glock 21 is a nice gun. I have the SF version. Did you go with the standard or the SF?

Standard. But my hands are large so it fits me well

Congrats on your new bundle of joy.  Also, good luck with the baby

Ditto. Nice package. Congrats to you and the Mrs.

Nice buy, make sure you buy one of these or something similar before your young one becomes mobile.  I have 4 small children of my own, and my night stand has one of these:
