Galco makes a nice soft leather one with a thumbstrap. I have one for my Taurus snubbie and I like it....very comfortable. They have different sizes for different guns. I bought mine at copsplus.com...they're about $25-30 if I remember correctly.

Pardon the dumb question, but if you're just going to use it at home, why not just use an OWB holster and be more comfy?

Well I just don't want my new neighbors knowing I have a gun. I like to go out side alot with my son in the back yard. I also wear alot of shorts that don't have belt loops so I prefer something that would just clip inside.

IC.

Well, one other thing is that no IWB holster I've ever tried is very good without a belt. Obviously, the ones with belt loops need one, but the metal or plastic clip ones aren't very good just clipped onto pants waistband, with no belt to clip over.

That being said, like Packin Momma said, Galco ain't a bad choice, for a cheapo.

Their "Stow and Go" is pretty comfy (I'll be pocket carrying my Kahr mostly, but have a Stow and Go, too). The "injection molded" clip (plastic, but fairly substantial) might serve okay on just pants seam.

Only 22 bucks from Cheaper than Dirt...(plus shipping, so buy something else while you're at it :-)

Actually, they have some Ace Case cheapos on there for 8 bucks that might serve your limited purpose...or an Uncle Mike's cheapo.

That's actually the Galco "Walkabout".

But exactly same as Stow and Go with the mag carried added.

Actually, they make this for Glock 26 too:

but it might be getting a little cumbersome, dunno, as Kahr PM9 is significantly smaller than the Glock 26.

You should get a Galco belly band. I wear it with scrubs on occasion, as well as khakis when I'm not wearing a belt. There are several makers of belly band type holsters, but I bought a Galco and have been extremely pleased. It doesn't provide as good access as a standard holster, but it's very convenient, and I often wear it when I otherwise would not be carrying. They're not as expensive as a standard holster, either. Check this out.

Natosha, I'm not sure a clip-in style holster is really going to work that well with a heavy gun like your Glock 26 and shorts without a belt. The accepted school of thought is that a sturdy belt is the foundation of a comfortable holster system. I say system because the parts really do have to work together as one.

Have you thought much about getting a small revolver like a S&W J-frame to carry in a pocket? Or even the new Ruger LCP automatic might be a good choice, although I think I'd rather have the slightly more potent cartridge from the .38spl than the .380 automatic.

If I'm not mistaken, Natosha already has a S&W 637 J Frame like mine or has one on layaway or something. If that Galco belly band really works, I may have to get one to wear with wind pants. and gym shorts.

Yes I do have a revolver on layaway. Hopefully I will get it out before the end of the month. But I have to just make due with what I have for now. I would love to have an LCP but hard to find. That will be next after the revolver. (It is an air weight)

Thanks for all the advice. I don't really like the bellyband. I have tried moms. I might just have to make due with what I have for now and wear jeans or shorts that have belt loops. (I know it seems crazy to not feel safe in your own home but......... The newest neighbors make me nervous and always have since they moved in a three or four weeks ago.) I kinda feel like a scaredy cat!! HA! But I also have a toddler that I have to keep safe. :P
