Intresting article on the c-clamp grip

I found this intresting. I have noticed a lot of people moving to this grip. I've never found it comfy, and can't get used to it. I prefer a vertical broomhandle or just an underside grip. For tight quarters I have used magwell, though I do think magwell grips can lead to malfunctions if not done correctly. He brings up good points on the pros and cons. It seems with the widespread use of internet, new things spread like wildfire even if they aren't the best for alot of people.

I think the biggest problem with this grip style for gunfighting is when its over exaggerated like the article described.  When used normally i have not found a reduction in peripheral vision like the article described.  I also have what most would describe as monkey arms so i always end up with more bend in my elbows than what you typically see with the exaggerated C grip and i keep the elbows tucked towards the rifle.   I've tried several different grip techniques for my support hand and find that for me personally i am faster getting on target using a c clamp type grip and more accurate using sightless fire in CQB distances.  everyone is different though and what works well for me and my body type does not necessarily translate well to others.

The article does do a good job of explaining the potential downfalls of using this grip method though
