A Good Independence Day

Took time today to put my two rifles (and pellet pistol) into the gun cabinet I bought a few days ago.

 

Not the final home, waiting on the wife to clear a corner inside a closet.

 

For $99 from walmart, this seems like a much better gun storage solution than the top shelf of the guest room closet. Ammo storage used to be the bottom drawer of my filing cabinet in the office.

 

I also did a quick inventory of my ammo situation. Not as bleak as it was a few months ago.

 

1300 Remington Golden Bullet 22lr still in boxes (2 full + 1 partial)

350 Remington Golden Bullet in the Fish Oil pill container. I used vitamin bottles at the range.

 

750 Federal 36gr 22lr bulk. Stored in the clear vitamin bottle

 

170 CCI 22lr CB (quiet ammo) in original CCI containers

 

120 Remington Corelokt 180gr 30-06 in boxes

20 Remington Corelokt 165gr 30-06 in box

 

Also have 97 fired 30-06 brass for when I start reloading.

Why would you need to oil a fish? Do they rust?
