Any dirt bikers on here?

Is there anybody that rides dirt bikes on here?

If so, where does everyone ride? Any favorite places around Nashville within 2 hours?

I ride a 06' YZ250 with an Eric Gorr 295 kit ported for mid running 92.

Not a dirt biker myself, but a atv rider. Have you ever been to NATRA? ( northern Alabama Trail Riders association). They have land out near Lawrenceberg and plenty of dirt-bike trails. Some atv trails but t's a long drive for me now.

I usually ride locally( if i can find a place still open). Been to Wooly's but it is more suited for the rock crawlers. Mostly we ride the Cove ( Bryant's cove) or Viola. Prentice cooper state forest is a good place if you ever feel the need for speed and the occasional jump.

I used to ride Windrock before it was even called windrock. Once it got to crowded I just rode the least used single track trails up there and on pvt land. First dirt bike was an xr 100 when I was 8. Upgraded to a yz 490 two stroke when I was 13 and rode that big beast on all kinds of single track. When I went in the military I didnt ride again until Japan where I bought a yz 125, popped the motor after 3 months, so I bought a yz 490 motor off ebay and built a 500 cc two stroke on a 125 frame. Lots of port work and head work on the 490 motor. Scary beast. Currently without a ride at the moment, but that 490 motor is in the garage waiting for a new frame.

Me in okinawa

Nice bikes.   I used to ride KDX's but sold my last one about 4 years ago.   At the time I liked going to Turkey Bay offroad park in LBL.

I used to do a lot of dirt, trail, trial & motocross riding in the 70's & 80's, my first learner bike was a 77' Kawasaki street/trail 90cc, then a Yamaha 100, then a 79' Ossa 125cc Phantom, lastly an 86' Honda 250cc.

I switched to streetbikes in 86, with a KZ900, haven't ridden a dirt bike since, but would love to again sometime if I ever found a good spot close by here.

I only ride at LBL now. Thats why I was curious if there was anywhere else around here (Nashville).

Glad there is some other riders on here!

Anyone care to head to LBL with me anytime??

Theres a track in Spring Hill of Joe Peay Road. Think its called wildflower park or something like that. It's next to the yard where I keep my 5th wheel and seems to be pretty popular on the weekends. Edited by Dad03
