My dream AR-15.

Ok, now that I got what I consider to be an AK variant that is more than sufficient to suit my needs, I'm looking around at AR's so I can hopefully find one I like. I think I found it. It's the DPMS Panther Bull Sweet 16. Someone here on the forum built an AR that looks similar to this one. But something like this is what I want. I like this type of stock, the flat top upper, and the bull barrel. Any input from the masses? Any advice or experience with this rifle? It looks pretty sweet to me.DPMS_Panther_Bull_Sweet_16.jpg

I have a DPMS LR 308, and it is a great shooter.

All my AR-15's are Rock River.

The bull barrels are great for bench shooting, but they can get heavey after a while, standing up to shoot with them

I'll second that. If you want a good all around barrel profile, try the M4. If you want lightweight, go the "pencil" barrel route. My brother just bought an HBAR upper and it doesn't balance well with a collapsible stock.
