Hello fellow members, I've been lurking around a bit, reading. I thought it was high time I check in. As the name implies, I shoot mainly the old trusty 1911's and do most of my shooting at Range USA, in the Bartlett area. I've taken classes at Rangemaster but most were take at Range USA. This year I plan on running up to Camden, however, it won't be the forum class. I just don't have the time now. I hope they will consider another class of this type later in the year. Anyway....hello all.

Welcome, Mike. I'm a sucker for the 1911s myself. Nothing wrong with a gun that has a proven 100 year history of removing the right people from the gene pool! :eek:

I like the 1911's and the black plastic guns too. I don't have a particular favorite, though my G19 spends most of the time on my hip.

Tungstens' right! If you want to send someone on a trip to room temperature, the 1911 is one of the best ways to do it, in my opinion.

Welcome from a Bartlett member. I shoot at RangeMaster, but maybe we'll meet at Range USA sometime. Enjoy the good company here.
