Has anyone used, seen or know someone who uses iVUE camera glasses?  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CB25RCQ/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2XHJBCIVKZF0P

I was thinking about getting me a pair. They are half the price of the Pivotheads I was looking at.

I have a new Go Pro Hero 3 that I use on a hat.  Granted the glasses are a lot lighter, but the quality sucks.  They only do 720p.

Most definitely.  You want at least 1080p at 30fps.  The 1080p Pivothead is $300, and the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition (I have this one) is $399.  So you get a little more universal camera for other sports for a little bit more.

The Pivotheads look interesting. I'm curious how bulky they look in real life.

I've gotta say I love the versatility of my GoPro though. Tried it for pov water skiing last weekend with the family.

I just bought a Contour +2 not 10 minutes ago.

Similar to the GoPro Black. Different shape and for motorsports it will map you via gps.

Also has bluetooth to connect to your phone app.

We will see if it lives up to the GoPro.

Most of the cameras I have seen is the Contour. I think you will like it if you find a mount that you like. I'm still debating what to get.
