Okay, I'm a metal head all the way although not that big into death metal. Contrary to some people's view, there's more to it than they want to believe. Keeping rhythm at some of the speeds of modern death metal would give some musicians a coronary. ...and if you think doing guttural high intensity vocals is easy, go out the garage and try. You won't be talking the rest of the week. I takes a seriously strong set of vocal chords to hold up to it.

That being said, this song isn't all that fast but consider their age and experience.
Even if you think death metal sucks, this is intense and a real shocker. This little gal is cute as a button, I don't have a kid but I'd adopt her and her brother in a second.

If you listen to bands that have been around forever like Napalm Death or Seluptura they don't deliver vocals much better.
These kids need a real support band and some good writers. A vocal coach to work with the girl and maybe get some lessons from Dave Lombardo for the boy. We could be looking at the next Morbid Angel, Static X or Obituary.

Hey, it ain't for everyone. Lol.

Those kids are pretty talented for being so young. Most especially the little girl. I learned in HS that my vocal chords were not up to the task of gutturals like that.

* I too initially had issue with the link, take out the "m." at the beginning and that should help matters.

I like death metal for the up tempo and speed of songs even though I have no idea what they are saying. But none the less it was impressive that a 6 yr old had such a strong voice. Plus the name of their songs were kick arse. Lullaby crash and Brush my hair and rot

Interesting. Much as I hate to agree with Howard Stern, I also wonder about long term voice damage doing that at such a young age.

I've traditionally avoid all these musical "talent" shows simply because they've got little to do with music and lots to do with popularity. Perhaps this is the next generation's Joan Jett or what's her name from Arch Enemy.

True, but she needs to work on her song writing.  Call me a metal snob, but the 3 minute radio hits they produce just don't highlight much musicianship to me.  They write some cool riffs, but they're kinda ... dare I say.... Nickelback-ish.

But then, they're making millions and I'm stuck working 8-5 so...
