Account logs out IE10

Changed my password about a week ago. I browse TGO from my phone, home pc and work pc. Home (chrome browser) and mobile (android) seem to be fine but my work machine doesn't retain the login. System runs IE10, cookies are enabled and I've checked the "remember me" box before logging in. Chrome on the same PC doesn't have any issue.

Never had the issue until I changed my password. Not the worst of problems but it's annoying to log in every time I launch IE. Possibly specific to IE10?

Deleting cookies and starting over seems to often be a fix for many glitches like this.

Trouble is, seems IE doesn't have option to delete only cookies from specific site, like Firefox does, so you may lose client side auto stuff from other places you frequent.

in ie10 if you go to tools, alt + x, click 'Internet Options'.

click the 'content' tab

in the 'AutoComplete' section click the 'Settings' button

check the box for 'User names & passwords on forms'

check the box for 'Ask me before saving passwords'

----

next time you log into TGO from ie10 it will pop up a box at the bottom prompting you to save the password click 'Yes'

if you close the browser & restart it and return to TGO it should automatically log you in

Yeah I know I can have IE autocomplete the login but I've never selected the option to save the password on any browser. The "keep me logged in" option should drop a cookie which takes care of that. That's certainly a viable solution, but I just hate using workarounds for abnormal behavior.

It's probably just a config issue on my end or perhaps there's something on ip board. I'll dig around a bit.

Your issue is using Internet Explorer

That's kinda like saying "that's because you drive a ____".

I prefer Chrome personally, which is why I use it at home. But IE (10 specifically) currently has the highest marks for malware protection. So it's not all bad.
