New 686

I've been dreaming of one of these for a long time and now thanks to my buddy Durow, I have one.  Hope to have it to the range Saturday to try out the very sweet trigger on it.  This is the first pistol I've felt the need to show off.  :up:

Nice wheel gun. I have a 6" model from '82. Still in use and built like a tank. Shooting magnum loads are a handfull, hang on.

I had a Wilson(?) Barrel Weight(SS) that slides over the bottom lug under the barrel. You could shoot your "Cannon Loads" then!

Had to file small flat spot on Gun to keep Weight in place. Better than letting two set screws "walk" back up the barrel.

Cool. They look very comfortable and dress up the gun. The 686's have very nice triggers from what I remember.

Very nice! Whenever I can find a 2 inch barrel one I will have one as well
