Bear Climbs tree to ck hunter out

I would do exactly what the guy taking the video did.  Keep quiet and let the bear sniff around, maybe even pet it and make friends..  If bear tried to get in the stand kick it in the nose and knock it out of the tree.  Then wait a while.

I would have bear fragments all over me and my tree stand

I would most likely have the contents of my bowels all over me and the tree stand. Bears are scary.

After watching it again, I cant help but think he looked at it and said, "These are not the droids you are looking for." While waving his hand.

Camera in 1 hand, bear spray in the other hand.  Gun would be a last resort as I absolutely LOVE bears.

Nope, no way in hell that big joker would get that close to me without being poked in the nose with a broadhead or shot.

I absolutely LOVE bears.

Me too, but I like living more.

I have zero real world experience around bears, so I was surprised a bear would go through all that trouble without at least taking a swipe or bite at the hunter. I would have been scared to death.

If that was me I would just have to throw away the pants cause they would never come clean.

Reminds me of a guy I hunted with years ago. He had a cub and momma climb up his tree. One was at the foot of the his climber just looking at him and sniffing. He kept his 7mm pointed at its head till it went on its way. He told me it was the only time in his life he could remember pissing on himself and he though the smell is what ran the bears off.

I can't help but wonder if he had the thought process to not shoot that one in fear of what the others on the ground may do. I know dang well what I would have done...reload

The thing I found most interesting is the absolute speed that the bear climbed the tree with. I had no idea they could just shuffle up a tree like that Edited by KKing
