Snowden to Charged with Espionage

Recommended Posts

The government did what most of us suspected of it doing and it was proven by Snowden when he blew the whistle on them. He may be a traitor in the eyes of those in government but Obama, Pelosi, Feinstien, Cuomo and most of those votong or striving for more gun control are traitors in us gun owner's eyes. The federal government does what it thinks is best for us, whether we like it or not.

Society has been brainwashed into thinking Snowden is a traitor. But if you knew your government was doing something wrong and you had the evidence to prove it, would you?  Most wouldn't, but if you have nothing else to lose, you might.

If you knew your government was doing something wrong and had the information would you release the information then hide in a non extradition treaty country and provide those foreign countries with US intelligence data.

The difference is, they went over the line from collecting valid data to defend the country, to collecting illegal

data from the citizens of this country. It has no known information that has yet prevented an act of terror, with

the exception of events we will never know of, because of "national security" provisions that don't permit us to

learn of. Very hypocritical. They could tell us anything while building another Third Reich. As far as I'm concerned,

they are collecting domestic data to use against political enemies with this data, and furthering a political agenda

that is unconstitutional.

Now, who gave them this authority? The Congress, and most likely without our full consent. The Patriot Act, and

other Acts similar to it has and is creating a police state. that is now obvious to me. A lot of that stuff the crazy

Alex Jones and Glen Beck have been spewing is now not only not tinfoil, but is out in the open.

As far as your question, C.A., that guy has put himself in the line of fire from the most powerful people on the planet.

Why did he do it? I don't know. And I don't know if I would or could. I guess it depends on how much I found out

and if I could do it while keeping the good men and women who actually do their duty safe from exposure, but,

when the constitution is involved, and as long as it has provisions for my freedom contained in it, I will side with it.

Whether or not this guy(Snowden) is a traitor or a patriot, your right to your opinion is about to be thrown out the

door if this is allowed to continued because once the wrong people get your information and start using it against

you, you lose something dear: your country. This isn't about national security concerning keeping spies or soldiers

safe, but it is about a government being paranoid and building a structure right out of Sci-Fi novel to control. That's

not good.

Why couldn't the alphabet agencies foil that Boston bombing? They were warned and dropped the ball. That's only

one example. Do you want more? Or do you want to live like a butterfly in a cocoon? Tell me how Prism is doing

anything good. It's an affront to your liberty, and that could be the tip of the iceberg.

This is the kind of thing that happens when we throw our votes away by electing traitors and thieves to public office by not finding out what they are and exposing them.

If I knew there was a bullet with my name on it? Yes! That would be the extent of my martyrdom. I would rather be

alive than dead. When I died, there would be no witness.

I really doubt he would have the balls to drop a drone strike in Russia.

I don’t know. He has the balls to push amnesty through. The impact of that could be equal to an issue with Russia.
But he has already said Snowden isn’t worth messing with.
