Man fires shots at dog for eating couch

It is assholes like this that give ammunition (pun intended) to those gun-control nuts that constantly push for restrictions on who can own firearms, sell a firearm, carry a firearm, etc.

i don't know if this idiot has an HCP or not but just think if we had constitutional carry in TN - he could be carrying and sitting next to you in a restaurant with his already demonstrated poor judgment and without ever being taught even the most basic rules of safe gun handling.

Also, he is apparently a very poor shot.

Not that this shows anywhere good judgement, but eiither the fella was a bad shot or he was just trying to get the dog's attention. :)

Geez, if dogs got shot for eating couches, there sure wouldn't be so many dogs in the world. Its what they do.

That dog needs to be convinced that the shooter is a couch, then it's reunion time.   :pleased:

I see the point you are trying to make but must point out a flaw in your logic.  Do you really think that some dumbass who shoots at his dog inside an apartment, thereby shooting through the walls and endangering people in the next apartment, is going to let a little thing like not having an HCP stop him from carrying and sitting next to you in a restaurant?  Sure, it would be an extra charge to tack on after he did something stupid but I don't think the likelihood of his getting caught before doing something stupid would be all that high.  In other words, I'm not sure Constitutional carry would make that much difference in the number of dangerous morons who may be carrying firearms in public without a permit as many such dangerous morons probably don't worry a whole lot about carry laws either way.
