44mm Glock

The anchorman on WBIR just declared that someone is suspected of stealing a LEO's service pistol from the LEO's home while the LEO was on vacation. According to the talking head, the pistol was a 44 millimeter Glock.

Now, I am no fan of Glock. They just generally aren't for me. However, if they are now making a 44mm, I might have to get me one of them. Should be just the thing for SD against random, roving T-Rex. Do y'all think limpwristing would be a problem? Edited by JAB

Not a problem at all. After the first shot your wrist will have to be put into a cast, so... no problem.

Somehow I doubt that there'd be enough wrist left to put into a cast... unless you just wanted the powered bone to beef up the casting medium.

And people wonder why my journalism degree is in a desk drawer under the worn out undies. People tend to judge you by your association ....... I'd rather be judged according to you fine folks.

The 9mm kills your body, the 45acp kills your soul, but the 44mm kills your ancestors souls.

It's obvious that these journalists don't know what they are talking about but did it ever cross their mind that they would be much more credible and not look like such idiots if they would just report what they knew if they don't know the specifics?  I'd rather hear them say "A glock handgun" than a 44mm Glock."  If I hear "Glock handgun" I have no reason to find that suspect other than it came from the media, but when I hear "44mm Glock handgun" I know they are full of it.

Can just image what other "facts" they report having nothing to do with guns, that people accept as gospel truth, that are completely erroneous?

That magazine comes mounted on its own trailer.

This was brought home to me when I worked for Metro Nashville PD.

I'd see a story on the news, about an incident in which I was present (maybe even my assigned call), and I would just laugh when watching the news because, usually, it was nowhere near what really happened.
