Okay, I down at the School For Wayward boys (Ft. Benning, GA, Home of Infantry). walked into a local shop, which had a nice selection BTW, anyways, I was looking at the Kimbers TLE and Custom II, does anyone know the difference between them?

The seem to have pretty much the same slide, frame, trigger, hammer, sights, not sure about the internals though.. So if anyone has any insight let me know..

According to my info, the difference between the Custom II and Custom TLE II are....

TLE has additional:

-Frontstrap checkering 30 lpi

-Meprolight Tritium 3 dot sights (worth the price in my opinion)

Mine was both. It was a Kimber Custom TLE II.

I think the only difference in the TLE (Tactical Law Enforcement) is the Meprolight Tritium three dot sights and the front strap checkering.

And maybe that really nasty finish; that may be specific to the TLE.
