Look what I get to do for father's day

Today, for father's day, I get to sit in bed all day rather than go out like I had wanted.

Yesterday I wasn't paying attention and managed to brush up against a sheet of stained glass, cutting myself. It is hard to judge size by the picture but is 5" long and about a 1/2" deep. I considered going to the hospital but decided against it after I got the bleeding to stop. It took about 20 minutes of pressure to get it to stop. Then my wife bandaged me up. This morning it was even more painful removing the dried on bandages. They were soaked in hydrogen peroxide to loosen them before removing.

Now I am going to sit around today and let it air dry.

I am not going to post the picture in here. If you want you can click on the link. But be forwarned it is not for the queasy.

Not as bad as some but it is still pretty ugly.

I'm sitting on the deck of a three story house looking at the snow covered peaks of Breckenridge, CO.... and its 74 degrees.

But deep down I know all of these mountains are 15 rounds shorter and that cuts like stained glass!!

That is PRETTY.
You just need to get some mud rubbed in it to make it look like a battle wound.

I think I would have said something like " trying to kill a snake".

Get well soon.

The new "official" story is I was trying to fight off a black panther after it attacked me in my yard.

You sure you weren't injured rappelling off a cliff to save some orphans being chased by a rabid pack TN black panthers?

I could garner up a lot more sympathy.

JK, Dolomite. Heal quick, buddy.

 As we learned from the first Prez, "I can not tell a lie"

Keep bending the area so the cut wont get to stiff, busting it back open will slow down the healing.

Dang!  That sucks. Make sure you keep it clean. Pour some wiskey on it and then take two shots for yourself. Or did I get that backwards. Take it easy and veg out.

I thought black panthers only attacked people around election time.

Dang brother, if you didn't have bad luck, you wouldn't have no luck at all.

Keep it clean, take care.  If you need anything, gimme a ring.
