Need ideas for secure storage

I'm researching the idea of an extended (read no end date) vacation in an rv. I don't have lots of guns but I would like to figure out a fairly secure storage for about 6 long guns and 6 or so hand guns. I'm wanting something pretty covert. In was considering maybe a marine rod box I could sink into the floor and cover with carpet?

The rv will most likely be something similar to a Keystone Avalanche 361TG. I'm pretty handy with modifying things so there really isn't an idea that would be too far out there.

Using PVC pipe like a sewage pipe on the camper would deter anyone from searching.  If you pack desiccant along with the firearm it will remove humidity

Why not a false floor or ceiling throughout the whole camper? Enough room for guns and ammo to spare. If you hide the guns but not the ammo, you're just advertising that there are guns in the RV.

I dont know squat about RVs so how big is the bed going to be? I forget who makes it but I do recall a safe company that makes long gun safes that fit in the frame of a bed sans the box spring. The only problem is you have to take the mattress off for access though. There is of course the issue of getting it in the RV though...

Two refrigerators, one real and one fake.   Another idea, in the ceiling.  The box is on the roof, but a trap door or something is on the ceiling.

I second the bed safe option.

As a far as a false floor, etc., you may be limited on your locations since generally they have to run service and electrical lines anywhere they have a spare space. Not saying you can't find room, just don't be surprised to cut a hole in the floor and find something there.
