Constitutional carry in Mississippi

I saw an article that indicated Mississippi will have constitutional carry beginning July 1st. Some part of the gun must be visible. Anybody know anything about this?

I think you may have that backwards. The definition of concealed has been clarified in the statute now. If the gun is visible to plain sight it counts as open carry and no permit is needed. If it cant be seen in plain sight then it would be considered concealed. The way the statute used to read didn't clarify concealed and some crazy attorney general opinion / case law suggested that even a holster counted as concealed even though you could plainly see it. This ^^. According to the AG, if you can tell it's a gun, it's open. We still have to get a permit to conceal though.
