I am looking for a LCP and at the best price in or around Chattanooga. I need a new one, not that anyone saves buying these used anyway. I haven't really been out at all the retailers lately and I am wondering what the going rate is now.
It's for my grandpa who lives in Chattanooga. Edited by Patton

Holly cow, so $309 plus fees and tax is a deal.

I guess. Dunno where you are in the "east" but you might call Bill's Outpost in Alcoa for a price, I wanna say I saw them there a week ago not too much more than $350 with laser, didn't notice price of plain ones. (I could be misremembering too. :))

Go to GT Distributors at the state line on Rossville Blvd.  They had a couple yesterday right at $300 if I remember correctly.  Pay GA tax at 7% and pick it up on the TN side via their FFL partner.

Antlers & Feathers has several new Rugers in stock like the SR9 and SR40 for $410.00. Ruger Mark III's in standard for $305.00 and Target stainless for $445.00. We also have Mini 14's in the Tactical model for $750.00 and LCP's for $310.00. We also have 1022's with a red laminate stock for $295.00. We also have lots of other long guns and pistols so check out our other ads and give us a call. Everything on sale for father's day ammo 10% off all guns under $300.00 are $15.00 off and over $300.00 is $20.00 off bows are 5% off and bow acc are 10% off.

I don't know if you're ever in Lafayette, but this guy has the best price I've seen. $310-$20=$290 If I read his ad correctly.

I'm pretty sure they were priced at $299 not long ago.

Least fun gun I've ever shot.

I have looked a lot and 309 seems to be the lowest price I could find. Except a Raspberry for 299 at sportsmans.

I agree they are brutal, snappy little beast but grandpa needs an easy to carry pocket gun. Edited by Patton

They aren't that bad haha. A buddy and me had a headshot competition at 25 yards with them. I was actually surprised at the accuracy.

We are talking 380 LCP here, right? I wouldn't call them brutal or a beast. Perhaps a little snappy, maybe. I've had one for about 2 years and use it for back-up and primary carry.

I try to shoot a couple of mags every range session with it. I carry it with 71 grain Prvy rounds and shoot the same. Can't say I find it uncomfortable at all.

I've found the LCP to be a nice pistol for the purpose I purchased it for.  I carry it at times that I would likely otherwise be unarmed.  It gets fired for practice, to accomplish it's role as a back up, but not as a range pistol.

I'm asking because my grandpa wants to buy one. My wife and I already have one is the reason he wants one. Edited by Patton

My GF's Sig p238 is actually fun to shoot where as the LCP is not. But they do serve a purpose and I can see why they are so popular.
