Texas Statehouse Handgun Carry

When will we get the same courtesy from the TN Statehouse that people with a CHL in Texas get?  If you have a CHL, you don't even go through the metal detectors in Austin and can carry your handgun.

When Davy Crockett returns to Tennessee and scares the bejeezus out of those tools in the legislature. I'm not sure anything less would work.

Has anyone asked Harwell to change the statehouse rules to help those with permits?  No one knows until it is asked.
