It's Nashville Armory IDPA night! June 11th - 6:45 PM. Shooting starts at 7:00. It's hard to believe we're at the half-way point for year! Thanks again to David and Mick, also the Armory (Travis and Derrick) for having us. Now... Let's do some Mozambique's!! For all beginners and new shooters to the Nashville Armory you'll want to be there before hand (6:15 - 6:30) to watch the mandatory range safety video and get the IDPA safety brief.

2013-030

 

Description: Starting from P1 with hands relaxed at your sides: on the buzzer,
draw and engage T1-T2 from cover with three rounds each.
While moving to P2, engage T3.
From P2, engage P4. Shooter may re-engage T3.

 

2013-031

 

Description: Starting from P1 with hands relaxed at your sides: on the buzzer,
draw and engage T1 with two rounds while retreating.
From P2, engage T2-T3. Shooter may re-engage T1.
Move to P3 and engage T4-T6 from the prone position.

 

Extended Mozambique

 

Description: Starting from P1 (standing left of 4’ window wall) with hands
relaxed at your sides: on the buzzer, draw and engage T1-T4 with
one round each to the body.
Advance to P2 and engage T1-T4 with one round each to the body.
Advance to P3 and engage T1-T4 with one round each to the head.
All targets require 2 shots to the body and 1 to the head.

Good times as always at the Armory last evening. We had some new shooters and now we have some guys who were new shooters that are getting to be regulars! Love to see it... we even had another wheel gunner! Thanks again to everyone... see you all at the next one. (With that Mozambique we did, I wonder what an extended el presidente would do for my target transition!)
