ya know as an honest and upstanding (at least in my own eyes) yet broke person ... it's hard to resist the temptation to sell some of my .22 ammo, the money would help but i just dont want to feel slimy lol

Sell some...anybody who's willing to pay 0.17 per round might as well give the money to you - your lack of selling isn't preventing those buyers from purchasing.  Heck, if you really want to ameliorate the guilt factor, sell some off for less than the current going rate.

I bought two bulk packs today for $20 each, so the "going rate" is not 17 cents per round except for folks taking advantage of the less-informed gun owners out there. Since this crap has started, I've bought about 2000 rounds of .22LR a box or two here and there all at the standard prices and at stores in East Tennessee.

Ain't nothing wrong with most asian ,hell my wife was made there. I'm not buying at that price but if you dont have any and want some pay an go or stay at home.

 This has nothing at all to do with this thread but saw your pic and realized 'hey' my bike was parked in that very spot on our way out this morning.. 

  

 Unfortunately i think your right.. If one wants to go to the range bad enough they will pay what it takes to save them selves from looking funny standing there with unloaded weapons.

According to my gut I eat to much there, can't help it when you live two miles from food like that.
