At the start I will only be attempting to load 223 and 243. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

IMHO the Rock Chucker is a good rifle reloading press and it gives the new reloader a chance to learn the ins and outs of it.

I sure do thank all for the quick responce. Do most feel that there is a saving on reloading 223 ,I have read that the best part is learning the process and the accuracy that can be gained from a more consistent load. Also is $349 for the kit a good buy or should I look around for I think that is the kit I will purchase. Thanks

Once normal prices and inventories return, you'll find a pretty good savings in reloading 223 over buying it. What else you'll find is you end up with a higher quality ammunition if you do it right.

You won't recognize a lot of savings on your first run, but the real savings is when you reload the brass you've picked up for free. 8-12 cents a bullet, 4 cents a primer, and  10 cents a powder charge. I doubt you'll see 223 for 26 cents a round again. If you do, it'll be the Russian, steel cased junk.

Good luck with the purchase. Reloading is a great hobby that I enjoy about as much as shooting. I use a RCBS turret, good compromise in price and speed vs a progressive kit since I reload pistol and rifle.

There is a very big savings if your loading quality bullets such as Sierra or Nosler ballistic tips for accuracy. A good box of factory ammo with ballistic tips or such could cost $20 to $30 for 20 rds.You can load them for about $6 or so for 20 rds.
