Even though only days old, this is somewhat old and almost useless news. Most or all of the online documents proving the ages of China's gymnasts have been removed. On top of that, the Chinese officials are saying these age reports are nothing more than simple mistakes.

According to two scientists I saw on the news, it is basically impossible to determine exactly how old these girls really are. They would be able to figure it out down to a couple of years, but most of the girls in question are only a year or two shy of 16. It's just not exact enough.

Nothing. The IOC has already stated that it is going to trust the Chinese gov't on this issue and will not investigate.

I have enjoyed them so far. We have brought the suck in track and field, we are suppose to have the fastest in the world, but those Jamican's...wow. They are fast for such a laid back people!

Last time I tried to pole vault, I was about 14 and in my neighbor's back yard. Used a bamboo pole. I think I was able to clear about 4 feet.
