Just a friendly reminder for my fellow tgo members who are Falling Skies fans. Season 3 premiere is this Sunday night. Im pretty sure 9 pm EST. I cant wait to find out what the deal is with this new alien race that landed at the end of season 2!

I've been following this show, it's actually not bad. The kid who played Ben was a fairly bad actor in the first season but in this last season I liked him a lot more.

One of favorite things about Comcast's DVR is that it remembers my series recordings from one season to another. Fairly smart of them to think of that.

I used to like it but its way too soap opera like - here's a summary of every episode

Miles swings sword and tricks someone
Aaron (Fat guy with glasses) cowers in fear
Monroe gets mad and punishes /threatens someone
Rachel talks really quietly and seriously
Someone gets the drop on our heros and they are forced to hand over their weapons
Yawn

I started watching falling skies last year, and really like it, it fills in an otherwise boring (for me) summer tv programing schedule

Yep. ready for it. In fact, just picked up dvd of season 2 and will catch up before the Sunday night premiere.

I too like the show but one item has always troubled me. Just how in the he!! did they get all those full auto weapons in Massachusetts? LOL

Also if the best way to kill a skitter is to head shot it why do they blaze away in full auto and not use their sights.

They waste too much ammo

This is a great show.  An article I read says 7 months have passed when season 3 starts.  Also Tom Mason is President.  Don't know if that is accurate or not but that is what is being reported.

I came down with a massive headache and only caught bits and pieces of it last night.  Recorded the whole thing on DVR and hope to watch it tonight all the way through.

All in all it was pretty good, i wont spoil it for those that havent seen it yet but there are a few big surprises
