A purty sight.....

Recommended Posts

Sure puts a dent in the plans of people wanting their $3,000 back for their few months old, never fired Bushmaster! Lmao! "Get it before its banned!"

Yep...that's for sure LOL...I saw prices from $700-ish to a bit over $1100, but nothing in the $1800's like at the gun shows I've been to recently.

Resulting from all this, there are two kinds of people out there whom were directly involved and walked away and are known as the Shafters and Shaftees. Hope none of you TGO fellers were the latter, lol.

I sold several guns in Jan. but I don't consider myself either. I got well more than most were worth to me, I didn't let any go that I didn't want to, and I got a lot of money to buy different replacements over the summer.

One example I sold was a Ruger 10/22 that I bought 12 years ago, I had been curious about the new take downs but didn't really want multiple 10/22s taking up space in the safes. I sold my older well used 10/22 for enough to buy a new 10/22 take down and some mags to spare from a guy that had to have one "RIGHT NOW!" while they were out of stock. I also cleaned the safe of several entry level ARs I had acquired to balance debts or in trades.
