The car will not actually come out until the fall.  This is actually a pre-production model for testing and making sure all the kinks are out.  Like I've said, corvettes have never done ANYTHING for me, and I am a car guy, but this thing is sexy from all angles and looks great in person.

I've seen a couple of them around Bowling Green. In my humble opinion, the rear "bumper" area looks horrible. On both I've seen, the bottom half of the rear of the car was dark grey or black. I think it would look so much better if it were painted the same color as the car. it's enough to ruin the whole car for me.

Been a car guy since I took my first ride home from the hospital, but be damned if I ever liked a Corvette.

 

I have been turning wrenches since I learned to grab them, and it never made any sense to me why folks liked a Corvette. I could take a Camaro or Mustang, and with half the price difference, make a car that was faster and handled better. By my math, that left a lot of money left over for gas and cigarettes.

 

Maybe it has something to do with growing up poor in Appalachia, the chick dug Mustangs and Camaros. Nobody had the money for a Corvette, so no one had one.

I too think the lower panel should be the same color as the rest of the body. Changes will come if Corvette enthusiasts are vocal. You can order one now.

I came extremely close to buying one myself but went with my Shelby, I must say that is the best body style for the Corvettes, we need to get together sometime and compare our cars, I love yours!

I love the looks of the new 'Vette but I'm a die-hard anti-GM guy so I wouldn't buy one no matter the cost or my money situation. I probably wouldn't turn down a free ride though. I just wouldn't admit I enjoyed it. ;)

Amen, I love how Dodge released the detuned Viper and let the Vette beat it, then released a newer version and spanked it.
