Two legged coyote hunt... Sounds good. Now I need a wounded "fawn" call. I'm thinking its going to sound like: "I'm soooooooo drunk".

EastHipster, did you get the coyote... or coyotes? I hang out at the Murfreesboro airport a lot, and I know of two deer that they have killed on the airport property...and cleaned their bones! Played games with a young one there a couple of months back in my car. Could have nailed him... but, the airport is inside the city limits. Hope you got them before they got the fawns.

A lot of people dont hunt coyotes in the summer due to the heat. Some of the best calling is during the summer months. I have killed many coyotes during this time.

Shawn,

Do you harvest the hides in the summer months? I've heard they can be pretty mangy. I have an e-caller and decoys...and would like to do some coyote hunting this fall and winter, in the Murfreesboro- Rutherford County area. I've been a couple of times, with no success. Need some afield tutoring by someone that has been successful.

I hunt them in the summer but no I dont skin them. Most of them are to stinky and nasty. I dont skin a whole lot but if I do it has to have a really nice pelt. We can definitely go just let me know. Predator hunting and turkey hunting are my favorite. Deer comes 2nd.

Funny thing...I have only heard ONE Coyote this year and I was out a lot during early Season.

Not sure what's up but I'm not complaining.

I did get a couple on Trailcam.  But last Winter I heard packs of them every day while I was hunting.
