Thanks for posting this Tanker.  I saw it the other day and chortled a bit.  Ive got zero confidence that a university tenured journalism puke is gonna do anything; but i gotta admire the style. Their problem is they aint very credible as "death angels" to their imagined enemies. I simply cant imagine these university types as SS "death angels"....   He aint gonna take up his sword and carry anything out.  It's the usual statist, elitist windbaggery.

 

By the way; i wonder if this "threat and exhortation to do bad things" can be prosecuted under the "insightment to do violence"  statute ALA our great US AG for East Tennessee's intrepretation RE: the muslum community....?   Maybe he will stand up for the NRA members in Tennessee and interview and fully investigate this potentially "dangerous" person.  How about a civil rights seminar and meeting for us "Tennessee NRA Rustics"....RE:  our rights...?

Yea, I can honestly say I know PERSONALLY and LITERALLY over 3000 Tankers. Active, Guard, Retired and Vets. Who have served on everything from 48's to the M1A2 SEP. I dont know a single one who "I believe" would bring a 120 smoothbore to bear on American Citizens.

 

There are other Tankers on this Forum, they can vouch when I say, Tanks (Especially the M1 series) are not "Point and Shoot". And sending out a Bn. (Or even a Company) of Tanks is no small feat. There are ten support guys for every trigger puller, fuelers, ammo guys, maintenance (It costs about $200 per mile in parts and maintenance to keep a single tank rolling), and maintenance takes turret and hull systems mechanics, welders, guys who know how to maintain the fire control systems, Master Gunners to keep em shootin straight, it takes supply specialists to keep the Class 1,3 and 5 coming, without it you aint fighting. And a lot more.

 

So where is this Professor getting all these guys? These guys who would be running around in UNARMORED trucks, Humvees and HETTS?

 

I guess he plans on he and his fellow professors taking those M1A1's and A2's out on the road.
