With football season right around the corner, I just started thinking about those cool collectibles that come by time to time. Anyone have and rare, awesome, or just strange memorabilia?

I've got a few.

First is a baseball autographed by Jose Conseco that he hit in a game (huntsville stars while rehabbing a broken wrist in his prime). I got the foul ball and then had to wait in line for a couple of hours - I was about 10 I think. This used to be a lot cooler.

I also have a few cool Titans things. I have an autographed jersey and mini helmet from kyle vandenbosch. I also have a music city miracle print of Dyson running into the endzone on the play autographed by dyson. Last in the Titans stash is a blown up sports illustrated cover with Eddie George (as a titan) that's signed.

I have Greg Maddux and Ron Santo autographs on a baseball, Pete Rose on a ball my wife bought from QVC the night he was banned from baseball. A Johhny Bench autograph baseball I got from him. I have a lot of autographs from the Big Red Machine, baseball cards and such.

i have all kinds of stuff. A couple of boxes worth. Been collecting memorabilia forever. There are some near one of a kind pieces.

Ive got a couple cool things. I have a 3 pictures framed that has Michael Jordan Scottie Pippen & Dennis Rodman signed by all 3 of them after they won the championship in 93. I was lucky enough to be at the game in the skybox & at the team afterparty. I also have 2 other really cool Jordan autographed pictures.

I wish I did. The top of my wish list would be an autographed Emmit Smith jersey. He has probably been my all-time favorite 'Boy for as long as I can remember. I'd love to find one of the old-school jerseys and have him autograph it.

What I really want is to head to TX sometime this season and go to a game with my dad. We used to watch the Cowboys play all the time, and he even took me to one of the games once. I wanna go again! lol

I had the 'Boy starter jacket too. I looked like Randy off a Christmas Story in it, but I didn't care. lol

I have an Albert Pujols bobblehead doll from when he played with the AAA Memphis Redbirds. Maybe if he ever becomes the home run champ (A-Rod will get there first) it'll be extra special. Valkyrie, I know what you mean about trips with the dad. Me and my old man have been going on baseball trips for about the last seven years. We pick a different park every year and will spend a couple days in that city. This year we went to New York for the final season of Yankee Stadium. Went to Cooperstown, too. I don't really have any other memorabilia. My folks live near Atlanta and the old man goes to Braves games when they're giving away bobbleheads or bats or whatever. He also has a Stan Musial autographed photo that he found up in the attic just recently. It must've been hidden away for 40 years.

Most of my stuff is NASCAR. I personally got autographs from Dale Sr. Rusty, Cale Yarborough, Ned Jarrett, Mark Martin, DW, Bobby Hamilton Sr., Kenny Wallace, Dale Jarrett, Ken Schrader, Mike Waltrip, Jeff Gordon, Ernie Irvan, Robert Yates, Rick Hendrick, Larry McReynolds, Mike Wallace and I have the goggles that were worn by the NASCAR flagman, Doyle Ford, at the Brickyard in 1996 when Dale Jarrett won. Doyle signed them for me. This is most of my stuff. I never wanted an item with an autograph that I didn't get myself. Oh, I have a picture of Dale Earnhardt coming out of the bathroom before the start of the Southern 500 @ Darlington in 1995. Doyle Ford got me into the garage for pre-race and I got to stay in the pits for the race, WITHOUT credentials! That would not happen today. Oh yea, I got Chocolate Myers autograph too.

I don't expect this stuff to be worth anything to anyone else but I enjoyed getting them all and would not want to part with it. That is unless someone wants to give me $500 for the Earnhardt picture! Someone would have to be a real DE nut to pay that but if they wanted it that bad I would let it go. i don't expect to run across anybody that would want it THAT bad!
