What was for supper?

I had arctic char with zucchini on the side. A salad for starters. All from the Bonefish Grill. I really like Long John Silver's, and miss Cross-eyed Cricket.

I have heard Bonefish Grill is pretty good. I can vouch for them keeping a nice kitchen too. been through the one in Bearden and Turkey Creek and they are near spotless when we deliver.

We did chicken wings on the grill tonight. Man were they good. Used Louisiana Hot Sauce, butter, cayanne pepper and chili powder for sauce. First time we mixed in the chili powder. It added an extra bit of flavor along with a different kind of heat.

Used a little ranch dressing on the side as a flam retardant.

Grandmother's chili recipe with venison instead of beef.

(I'm hurting some. Hate when it's so good you don't notice that you're full.)

Now I'm wondering what my brother's recipe would be like with that ingredient change?

Hickory smoked pork tenderloins, roasted rosemary potatoes, sauteed squash with vidalia onions, and peach cobbler.

Too bad it's not ready yet. I'm getting hungry sitting here thinking about it.

Ducks...you have got to try that "Texas Hot Salt" on, well...anything! Can't buy it in stores. Have to order it online at www.texastraditions.com It is awesome. I love it on popcorn and spaghetti. I got turned onto it hunting in Montana with a buddy who had it. I've gone through 4-7oz. bottles

I dunno if it's the same stuff or not, but I saw something labeled "hot salt" the other day in Food Lion. Might have to try some of it.

Gutterboy, I'll have to check that out. It would save me some trouble!

We'll see if it's the same stuff...
