What was your first handgun, and do you still own it?

I have only been into firearms about the last three or four years.  My first was a Five Seven, and I still own it.  It is one that I doubt I will ever get rid of.

The first that was mine was my grandfathers old S&W model 10 which was his service weapon until the late 80's.

Bersea series 95 when they had just come out, bought it at the now gone Sports Unlimited in Knoxville.

Shot it most recently about four weeks ago, still not my most favorite shooter because of the very short single action mode trigger but a good gun.

In my life I've sold one gun which I don't regret since it came from a person with a domestic assault on his record and shouldn't have had it and there was no telling what its history was. He brought it to me to ten years ago to try and settle up a $1000 debt lol, I knew I'd never see the cash so I took it. Was a little chrome Jennings 25, never even shot it was a little scared to with its condition, sold it to someone for $50 a week later.

Had three stolen, everything else I still own.

My father bought me a Ruger Single Six with two cylinders from Wal Mart for my birthday when I was a teenager. I still have it, and it's still in the box.

Makarov 9x18 was my service pistol. I bought similar Makarov, however my new one has adjustable sights. Still looking for exact copy of my first pistol

The first handgun I ever bought was a Ruger P85.  I traded it a couple of years later and bought a SIG or a Glock (can't remember which).  I still wish I had the P85; it was a great shooting pistol.

My first was a .25 cal Pietro Beretta pistol that was given to me by a co worker, I sold it years ago but regretted it shortly after

My first was a Ruger Bearcat, that my dad gave me in the mid 70's, wish I kept hold of it, was a great size for youngsters & would had been a good heirloom piece had I given any thought to that sort of thing back then.

A Gen 2 Glock 19. Still my favorite pistol. I gave it to my younger brother a few years back when he was looking to buy his first gun.  I still shoot it whenever he's in town.

Glock 19 Gen 3. Sold on TGO. Turned around and bought a G22 and G17 on TGO. The G19 was great but no love lost. The first few rifles that I bought will be kept as long as possible.

My father in law gave me my first pistol. It's a Raven M25 with a chrome finish. He used to keep it under his floor mat in his VW Beetle convertible he had restored. I only shot one box through it and put it away in the safe deposit box with some extra ammo. However, that little pistol started my chronic gun-buying addiction and many more have followed!

Mine was a G-17 that I bought from a LEO in Nashville. It's was my 1st and last Glock! I'm not saying this as a blast on the Glock's. They just are not for me! I traded that G for a S&W 686 that I still have.
