I have a recently acquired BD Police that I absolutely love. It needed a little trigger help, but CZ took AMAZING care of me, though I'm not the original owner. I'm super excited for it to get back to me so I can keep trying to wear it out.

Love. That. Gun.

And SonnyCrockett, I have been eyeballing a pair of those VZ's in exactly that color. Would match my VZ-equipped Springfield 1911 beautifully...

Does it come in a two tone or all stainless ?

Maybe CZ decided to go with Henry Ford's philosophy..."People can have the Model T in any color - so long as it's black."

Don't get me wrong...some look good sporting the Johnny Cash look...

But sometimes, they start life so ugly, you have to spruce them up yourself to get what you want...

And then there's those that you worked so hard, you had to spring for a new coat of paint...

I bought  CZ-75 SP-01.  Just taking it out of the safe for a day at the range makes me happy.  It is as fine a handgun as I have ever fired.

Not to take any credit from the CZ line they are well made pistols but like the 1911 they have been copied over and over with that said I just picked up a Tristar/Canik C100 and have been very impressed with the firearm bought it from Academy sports for much less then $400 take a look at them you wont be sorry

Big K,

What kind of grips on your Shadow?

They look like the rubber available for the compact line.

These are the VZ Tactical Diamonds. They are G10, which keeps me below IDPA's weight limit.

They're the same as Sonny's, but his are the tiger stripe pattern, mine are the plain black. Edited by BigK

I had to go with the thin aluminum grips from CZ Custom on my P-01, because I have small hands/short fingers.
The Marschal grips on my CZ 82 were too pretty to pass up.

Otherwise, I agree, VZ Grips are the absolute best.
