Ok so I gotta know how this makes sense, Colorado takes away its citizens gun rights after legalizing marijuana then puts laws in place to help make money from the now legalized pot. I just don't know where these people grew up but it sure seems odd to me, apparently they don't like guns but they love to get stoned. So now you can't legally have a high cap mag but you can carry an ounce of weed as long as you pay the taxes on it, was this to soften the blow to those that have and will lose their jobs from gun industry lay offs " sorry bout making you lose you job, here have a joint!"

The citizens voted for it and approved it in a majority. I think that's probably the right way to do things.
Now on the mags/gun issues, gun owners just got f'd. That should've (should be) put to a referendum too.

Well actually according to the 2nd amendment the magazine ban should have never even been brought up. But I agree gun owners got f'd.

A more apt example of complete cock-eyed is if/when they eventually legalize weed but also make tobacco against the law. Which seems the trend, but dunno if the trend will follow thru to completion. For instance california's lovable, personable and handsome Henry Waxman is strongly anti-tobacco and pro-weed. I think if he was ruler of the world it would already be thataway.

Weed should be legalized though I can't stand the stuff and it doesn't matter to me personally. And also leave tobacco the hell alone.

If you ever smoked weed and even talked about owning a gun; you are a thug.

If you keep them numb.............

:stalk:

You hit the nail on the head. Keep the masses numb and they won't notice when their individual rights are gone, then they won't care.
