Scary video of a Cop being shot

I know we all like to complain about cops every now and then but this video reminds us about the dangers they face every day.  

 

The office was making a traffic stop and took two rounds to the chest(vest) and one round grazed his forehead.

 

To all of our TGO officers, stay safe and be careful out there.

Any update on this felon that shot him? I hope they caught him or better. In the words of Polk County Sheriff, "That's all the bullets we had, or we would have shot him more," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd told reporters.

What amazed me is how quickly he dropped.  I guess I watch to much tv because I thought he would at least be able to return fire.

I've never been shot in a vest (or otherwise) but to watch the YouTube tough guys "try it out" would make me think it's like getting punched by a gorilla. 2 of those plus a glancing one off my head would put me down quick too.

He should have been killed for pullling a little stunt like that! Darn shame he cop that got shot didn't get to deliver the "final blow". I know if the officer had a chance, best thing to do is seperate the person from their gun as quickly as possible. That is if the officer knew he had one.
