Ya know, about the only un-ergonomic thing on an AR seems to me to be the adjustable stock butt shape. Seems to me the spec is too sharply angled in the first place.

 

But at any rate, given that, the hard non-padded standard ones always have tended to move against my shoulder despite the molded in ribbing, find myself constantly reseating them just due to zero friction against whatever fabric I'm wearing.

 

So rather than throw money at a higher end stock, I grabbed one of these off De Bay for 8 clams delivered:

Must say, it seems it will do the job, good grip against shoulder, seems to stay "stuck" there now, and increases max length of pull by maybe 1/2" which I like also, as I've always found fully extended to just barely suit me.

 

Fits almost perfectly on this UTG Pro, the little flaps stick up just a tad inside, but doesn't seem to matter as far as function, also leaves sling loop free, and can tell it ain't gonna move. I ordered another one for the other rifle I shoot the most, too:
