Warning on my .22LR ammo - heed it?

In desperation, I bought 500 rounds of this.  My question is, should I be concerned about this tearing up my semi-autos, will it move too fast to function reliably, etc.  It will take me years to shoot it all up in my bolt action.

I have heard of people saying it will eggshape the rear bolt pin on a 10/22. Get a shock buff and it is not an issue.

I will say that I have never had luck with these cycling in any of my semi autos. The firing cycle is too quick and caused malfuncitons for me.

I will say that unless your barrel is a 18 or 20 twist they are not going to shoot very well for you. BTW, the standard twist for a 22lr is 16.

I remember firing box of it through my Bersa Thunder .22 with so-so accuracy.  The Remington Yellow Jackets and CCI Velocitors fared better.  Given your dilemma, I'd be in the market for a few more bolt and lever action .22s.  ;)
