Welp there are both pros & cons to an AR pistol without a buffer tube.

The pro is because it makes for an over-all smaller, mmore easily concealable & portable package, but that is also a con because without a buffer tube you cannot get a cheekweld on it.

I've owned both & personally I think that the accuracy obtained with a cheekweld outweighs the benefits of a slightly shorter OAL there is however a way to sort of stabilize a non-buffered AR or an AK pistol enough to use the sights on them, that is by using a sling & pushing the weapon forward to create tension against the sling, while not a perfect solution it does help some.

I wrote the company, and casually asked if Leonard was their dealer here. They asked why, and I gave him a Cliff Notes version. This was his reply:

Yes, I’ve heard of him and his stunts.  He actually moves a lot of our LW-15 lowers now that I went in and looked his account up.  A very high number to be honest with you.  I understand your concerns though, and I appreciate the heads up.  To each their own I guess.

They are up on our website for sale now if you’d like to order one.

As infamous as he is, he doesn't appear to have any issue moving inventory. If people are willing to buy from Cheaper Than Dirt, they will buy from anyone.

As infamous as he is I had never heard of him until TGO. Hell I think he's just down the road from me, if I didn't know better I'd be glad for an FFL that close. I guess what I mean is that this small world we live in can be a pretty big place sometimes.
