Monarch and P3AT

OK, so I recently bought the P3AT and have been scrounging up ammo where I could find it. Finally got to the range on Saturday. I took with me some fiocchi 95 grain and monarch 94 grain. Fiocchi had brass case and monarch had nickel case. Fiocchi fired 50 flawless rounds. Went to the monarch and every 1st round would not want to chamber and twice the 2nd round would not chamber. I had already went through the Fiocchi so I could not compare the 2 at the range. So, tonight I bring out a box of each to compare. 1st thing I notice is this box of monarch had brass cases! They did seem to be a little longer than the Fiocchi...I did buy the monarch at different times (1 box limit), but it seems I need to stay away from monarch if I don't know what I'm getting. I knew this was rebranded stuff, but I assumed they got it all from the same place. I am going to try the brass monarch this weekend and see if it works better. But has anyone had problems with nickel monarch in their p3at?

Never shot any Monarch through mine.

Oddly enough - I have a P32 (.32ACP) which likes the Fiocchi Extrema, with Hornady XTP's I have several boxes, most is nickel, but some is brass.

 

I bought all from Sportsman's Guide before the drought.

 

I also shot a box of Monarch FMJ brass when I first bought the pistol. They all worked.

Thinking about it, the Speer Gold Dots I use for carry have nickel plated cases and they feed fine.  I've have more problems with WWB than those.

Idk, gonna try the brass monarchs this weekend. Tried some hornady critical defense last night and they chambered just fine. I would still like to know why I would get 2 different casings from what appears as 2 of the same boxes from monarch.

Monarch is always Barnual or PPU.

Not too unusual - I've bought Hornady ammo with Hornady, Frontier, and Starline headstamps; Fiocchi with Fiocchi and Starline brass also.
