Thousands of French Households Taxed Over 100%

The surcharge was introduced by socialist President Francois Hollande in an attempt to offset the cost of a rebate scheme and taxation cap introduced by former President Nikolas Sarkozy, the paper added.

I don't see how this is even possible??? Granted it's only for those who are well off, but it would stand to reason that might be the agenda of some folks a little closer to home...

Gotta love socialism.  Notice that what they consider "huge wealth", we wouldn't think much of.  I'll be what they've listed isn't half of their true assets, but total assets of about $10M? .... that's chump change for lots of US politicians.

Well, the US gives tax rebates to people who weren't out a dime in taxes in the first place, so we're probably not that far behind that curve.
