Benghazi, AP phone, and IRS scandals. Changing minds?

I would be willing to bet a Ruth Chris dinner that the majority of that particular block who voted over 95% for him don't give a flip about the IRS, AP, or Benghazi.  Don't pay taxes, cannot read, and think Benghazi is a muscle ointment.

I agree. That was the reason I put the limiter of "some" in there. I'm sure those that vote for a living are exactly like you said. But I do hope these things change the mind of enough voters to make some changes.

I'm not a John Stewart fan, but this one is pretty good--

And his poll ratings are steady... um, what?

Let's hope the scandals keep the Congress occupied.  So the poor attempts at gun control do not get voted on...

Plus the world will collectively forget about all that by 2016.

Dunno if hillary will be up to it by 2016. Lots of the pictures last year or two, she looks like an old wino street lady. Even if she makes it that long and wants to do it, dunno if even liberals would vote in president wino street lady. :)

Dems will not run Hillary. They will run somebody we aren't even looking at right now. They will need new political dynamics after 8 years of this administration. Watch for a dark horse at the primaries.

Yeah, the Libtards will vote for any idiot that hates America, and promises to be transparent.

She's probably in the gym now, with face lifts, lipo, botox scheduled. She'll look a healthy 55 by the time she announces.

Besides, she'll also assume office 8 months younger than Regan first did, no reason to think she won't be up to it. For two terms even.

I'm laying even money that Chris Christie will be her Veep once he's slimmed down and abandoned running as GOP or independent.

Hilary can get all the plastic surgery she wants, and she is still going to look like one old ugly irritable bitch. She's just not in Hollywood's perception of Madame President. Her immortal words of "what difference does it make" will be plastered on tv screens 24/7. I believe the big money and powerful groups that no one really knows exist will believe its time for a change at least for 4 years.

Those are good points.

Maybe I'm more sensitive to it from doing social work years ago, or maybe I'm just full of BS, but there seems sometimes a visually discernable difference between "healthy decrepitude" versus "rode hard and put up wet". Ferinstance some clean-living men in old age develop the red-veined golf-ball nose-- The W.C. Fields nose. However, that kind of nose seems to most commonly adorn old men who were excessively fond of drink over the many previous decades.

There is just something in the recent Hillary pictures that give the impression of too much time spent in late-night ambassadorial wine-tastings, rather than merely a normally decrepit old woman. Normal decrepitude I don't think would impair an old politician's chances so much. Or maybe I'm imagining things, or maybe most people don't notice. Too much time working with winos long ago.

Well, she blows the lid of every poll for Dem choice, so the nomination seems a given unless video surfaces of her saying "frick Chris Stevens, let's have a drink" or something.

And since she tops out on the "most admired female" ones over and over, seems a shoo-in period. Think of all the women who'll vote for her even if they have to lie to their conservative husbands!

I think she'll get a ride on the looks, America will settle for the Golda Meir look of wisdom and experience. Even though she's really just a conniving, cutthroat, duplicitous bitch whose ultimate ambition since she latched onto Slick Willy was to be President. She also has possibly the only ego in national politics to match BHO's.

Well this is a Rasmussen report, though Rasmussen probably isn't any more or less believable than other pollsters.

Until recently, most people considered democrats more trustworthy than republicans. But recently since the beginning of scandalpalooza, most people consider republicans more trustworthy.

However, 24 percent are unsure of which party is most trustworthy. I fit in the undecided twenty-four percent though I AM NOT unsure of which party is most trustworthy. BOTH parties seem UNTRUSTWORTHY.

 ^^^^^  This.

There is no difference between these people.  All this is is a way to drive a wedge into it all.  Seems the other people who are exactly the same do not think they are getting a fair shake.  This crap never end.

Burn them all in a ditch and tell me if you can decipher who is what after the flames die out.

It's the responsibility of the citizenry to have discernment to identify the trustworthiness of their representatives. Obviously, there is a shortcoming of this ability as evidenced by the last 2 Presidential elections. Sometimes, the putrid smell that keeps lingering around is due to people's apathy or inability to discern a rotten egg from a rose. To gain and keep trust in politicians or government is an effort few people are willing to participate in that is necessary if we are to have a "government of the people".

There certainly is a rotten smell coming from the White House and DC the last four and half years. And it appears that our government is in a state of decay that's irreversible. It looks like the people are gonna have to get use to this putrid smell for a very long time. Edited by ThePunisher

I am unsure how it stinks much worse than King Geo II's regime did?

Now, you're asking people to have some history discernment.

It would have been better if you just said it was Bush's fault. Edited by ThePunisher

If true, this one is pretty jolly-- Lois Lerner to plead the fifth at wednesday's house hearing--  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2328696/Lois-Lerner-Top-IRS-official-invoke-Fifth-Amendment-congressional-hearing-tea-party-targeting-program.html

I don't know if it is still allowed to mercilessly badger a witness taking the fifth, as was sometimes done in the past. IOW, rather than accept the fifth and dismiss the witness, keep asking questions for hours, forcing them to plead the fifth over and over and over again for the cameras. I've seen old video of this done to underworld characters and such.

Am not a lawyer (for damn sure) but heard somewhere that a witness can't take the fifth on some questions and answer others. If that is true, it would be lots better than bear baiting to get Lois Lerner up there, and after she pleads the fifth to 20 or 30 relevant questions, proceed with questions such as--

"Is it true you like to pick your nose and eat it?" "I plead the fifth."

"Is it true you only bathe once a month?" "I plead the fifth."

"Is it true you once did every employee at the cleveland branch in a single afternoon?" "I plead the fifth"

Hmmm, if Lois Lerner is going to have a tragic fatal accident or perhaps get real depressed and accidentally take too many pills, then it will perhaps have to happen purt soon to stop the bleeding for the admin.
