Hello everyone, my name is Jeromy and I am pleased to be a part of this forum. I'm from a town north of nashville that's fairly small but it has everything I need. I just recently moved back to Tennessee, I had spent the last few years in Hawaii and a few different countries. I am pleased to be back home with like minded southern people like myself, Hawaii really doesnt have the same hospitalty as TN.

 

Since I've been back I have taken the time to aquire my HCP. It's really wasnt too much of a hasle except for the fact that I needed to get my handgun training paperwork from my unit in the military. However, it did take the FULL 90 days to which they said it could take. All and all I can't complain, I did get it. After I recieved my permit I choose to carry everyday and everywhere that I can. It does seem that TN has the most dangerous places (in my opinion) gun free zoned. But that is better than HI where everywhere is a gun free zone. So with the exeption of those places and times where I know I'm going to drink, I carry.

 

My first civilain weapon was supposed to be an AR, more specifically a POF/Hogan .223 gas piston operated rifle. Unfortunetly a shooting that shook the nation accured a short while before my discharge, by which time the price of any rifle had shot up 100% and ammo became sparse. So for now I carry a simple Beretta 92FS, pretty much stock. I plan on buying a shotgun this summer, and my dream AR while in college.

I'm all set on weapons at the monemt. I'm going to wait awhile before buying anything besides a shotgun until prices come down a little.
