Kershaw Lahar

Just a heads up... BladeHQ has the Lahar for 44.95. It is a discontinued model that is becoming harder to find. I've been seeing them go on Ebay for over $100. Pretty good price for a 3.5" blade in VG10 steel. Mine came yesterday and I am very pleased with it and thrilled to add it to my collection. Someone on Bladeforums called it the ZT's granddaddy, which is a pretty good description.

Newb that I am, I'm quickly becoming a Kershaw fan. Already have a small pile started :)

You high end snobs probably need not apply, ;), but some of the biggest values in knifedom are the Kershaw Chinese line.

I like the Tremor and the Clash best, but there are a number of them, Asset, Oso Sweet, Burst, can't even remember them all. 18-30 bucks.

Ole Nutnfancy likes some of them too, here's his (as usual long winded) take on the Tremor:

The Clash is poor man's ZT0350:

I actually got in a couple of Kershaw Cryos today. Adorable little knives. Hinderer design, Speedsafe, good finish. My other Kershaws, some still in the mail, are all Zero Tolerance. I have an 0350, with an 0561 and 0300 on the way.

The Cryos are GREAT for $30 knives. All Chinese.
